What is a turn?

http://forum.wizkidsgames.com/showpost.php?p=897773&postcount=5

If the ability affects a player's action, then it is limited to that player's turn. Otherwise, it refers to any turn, including that of your opponent(s).

any turn.

Example 2:
- Once per turn, this ship may randomly take one treasure from any ship she touches.
- Once per turn, if this ship carries treasure and is within S of an enemy ship, you may randomly trade one treasure with that ship.
- Once per turn, cancel the ability of one crew or ship within S of this ship.
- Once per turn, one crew or ship within S of this ship cannot use its ability that turn.

Can I use these abilities on each player's turn, or only on my own turn?

Example 2a: your turn only.
Example 2b-d: any turn.

Example 3:
- This ship ignores the first hit she takes each turn as long as she has all of her masts.
- The first time this fort is shot at each turn roll a d6. The result is the number of times this fort must be hit that turn before any of its cannons can be eliminated.

Assuming Multiplayer, do these abilities activate for each of my opponents' turns when they fire upon me, or just one opponent?

Every turn other than your own for obvious reasons.

Example 4:
- Once per turn, reroll any die roll made for this ship; you must use the second die roll result.

Can I use this ability on my opponent's turn to re-roll a die (such as a Boarding roll)?

This can be used on ANY turn in which you must roll a die.

Example 5:
- The ship that reveals Natives may not be given actions for a number of turns equal to the number of crew on her when natives is revealed.

If I am affected by this, do I wait for X number of MY turns, or X number of TOTAL turn (including opponents' turns)?

The ability targets your ship's actions...which can only be done on your turn.

Example 6:
- At the beginning of every turn, roll a d6 for each fire mast.

Is this die roll made at the beginning of the Firepot owner's turn? Or the affected ship's owner's turn? Or on every person's turn?

Every player turn!!! This can really hurt in multi-player games!

Example 7:

- That ship may not be given an action for a number of turns equal to the number of crew on her when Mermaids was revealed.

If I am affected by this, do I wait for X number of MY turns, or X number of TOTAL turn (including opponents' turns)?

The ability targets your ship's actions...which can only be done on your turn.
